January and February
Vidar recently finished module B in two different places in Kenya. From January 15th through 26th, he was in Keroka, two hours drive South of Kisumu. The following two weeks he spent teaching in Kisumu. The module actually consists of 6 subjects divided into three weeks, so the last week in each place, Pastor Meni from Mombasa came teaching. Both places Vidar received great testimonies from the students how their lives were changed since starting school.
Healed in class
In Kisumu, one of the pastors got severely ill the week before school was about to start. He went to the hospital, and the doctor prescribed him some medicine. However, the pastor did not have enough money to pay the doctor, so he had to leave without any medication. Even though he was very ill, he decided to come to school. He received the message of faith, and after three days, he was completely well! Glory to God! Later, he told how the teaching spoke right into his situation. He believed the Word, and received his healing.
Another of the students in Kisumu is telling about his first day of school: “When I first saw Vidar at the pulpit, he looked so young that I though he was only the son of the real teacher. But as he opened his mouth to teach the Word of God, I quickly understood that he was the real teacher. When he opened his mouth, it was like God himself spoke His Word through Vidar.”
Vidar is now back in Norway to prepare for six new classes starting in April. There are a lot of notes that needs to be made before the next trip, so he is staying busy studying. Module C starts in Kanamai April 9th. Vidar will teach the two first weeks, while Pastor Meni will teach last week. From April 24th to 28th, Vidar is invited to a preacher’s conference in Kisumu. He and his dad, Thor, will be the main speakers at that conference.
