A New Year
At Safari Mission we are embarking upon the New Year with expectancy for what God will do. The world may be full of worry, but we have the true message of hope.
Vidar just returned home, having taught the first module for the year. On Saturday, we held homecoming or alumni fellowship in Mwingi, and we heard some truly wonderful testimonies that we would like to share:
One pastor told us of how his church members have become effective in reaching the lost. He continually sees people added to his church. Even unbelievers in the community are saying of his church members that they are changing for the better.
Another pastor told us of how the pastors around him are seeing his success. Now they are coming to him for help, and he is teaching them many of the principles he learned himself in school.
Yet another pastor told us of how his church members were often sick. Now, they are all around much healthier. He explained that now they don’t even come to the pastor when they have needs, for they have learned to approach the throne of God for themselves to obtain help in time of need.
Making a Difference
One denominational overseer testified that he really sees a big difference in the pastors that have gone through the school “I never have any problems with them, all my problems are always with those who have not attended the school.”
Praise Be to God
While the work is much and there are many sacrifices to make, the work is truly rewarding and we consider it an honor to be able to work together with the Lord. To Him be all the glory, for we are only the vessels of His Word.
